Many centuries ago, a tribe settled in the area now known as Turnișor. They were called Hauriu and stood out from other inhabitants, often being mistaken for gypsies. Today, after many centuries, in the Turnișor neighborhood, numerous Haurius maintain their traditions, forming a community deeply rooted in their distinctive culture. Among their usual activities are stealing, setting off firecrackers, and running from police. They are also big fans of gold/iron.
